Innovatión projects

Indumetal’s innovation team participates and plays leading rôle in numerous individual and consortium projects in the field of sustainability and the circular economy from the point of view of material recovery and waste management in particular.

Currently, in addition to participating in various national projects, Indumetal Recycling, together with other companies of different nationalities, also collaborates in projects financed by the European Union.


 

BATRAW

A consortium of 18 partners from seven countries will develop this project, known as BATRAW, which is of strategic importance for the EU in reducing its dependence on imports of these critical raw materials, as well as being able to guarantee a stable supply chain in view of the expected growth of the electric mobility market in Europe in the coming years.

Leading representatives from industry, research and technology organisations from 8 European countries have joined forces to increase Europe’s strategic autonomy in Rare Earths Elements (REEs). The REEPRODUCE project will establish for the first time a sustainable and complete European REEs-based permanent magnets recycling value chain at industrial scale
